July 18

Hey everyone, and welcome! I'm Jay, one of the founder of Folkscape.Live, thank you for joining us. Seriously, it means a lot to have you here.

What this place is about: Folkscape Live is home for anyone who loves folk music and folk culture, traditional, contemporary, obscure, doesn't matter. This is where we'll share new videos, talk about the artists and songs that move us, swap recommendations, and dig into the stories behind the music. Think of it as the hangout space that goes alongside everything happening on the channel.

A few ground rules to keep this a good place to be:

  • Be respectful - disagreements are fine, disrespect isn't.

  • No spam or self-promotion without asking first, but please do promote your fave shows and upcoming gigs in the Events section

  • Keep it on-topic (folk music, culture, and related discussion).

  • No hate speech or NSFW content - this is a space for everyone.

Let's get this started 👇 Reply below and introduce yourself - where are you tuning in from, and what got you into folk music?

Got a favorite artist, album, or song right now? Drop it here, I'd love to hear it. And if you've got questions about the community or ideas for what you'd like to see, this is the place to ask.

Can't wait to see where this goes. Welcome aboard!

Jay
